This week Matthew and Josh... Sorry, Matthew and special guest star Drew, discuss the inconceivable tale of Ross Ulbricht and the Dread Pirate Roberts. There are Princess Bride references, rumblings about the problems with Libertarian thinking, a little light mockery in both directions, and Matthew pretends he is a newscaster in the Conspiracy Catch-up section.
Note bene: Neither Matthew, nor Drew, are either the Dread Pirate Roberts or Rawshark. Josh wasn't available for comment, so he probably is.

It's been a year since The Podcaster's Guide to the Conspiracy aired its first episode, but rather than look back and do a clip show (note bene: next year do a clip show) Josh and Matthew looked forward (or rather, further back) and talked about the death of Osama bin Laden. Seymour Hersh's new article in the London Review of Books asserts that the official story of bin Laden's death covers up what really happened back in 2011. Is their merit to this theory, or is Hersh now a vapid conspiracy theorist? Listen in to maybe-kinda find out!

When is a conspiracy theory theorist not a conspiracy theory theorist? When he's subject to a conspiracy theory! Join Josh and Matthew as they delve into the allegations of Ben Rachinger, who claims that the #dirtypolitics scandal of the 2014 New Zealand General Election did not end when the National Party returned to power! Hear how the people behind the Lauda Finem blog have countered Rachinger's claim with their own conspiracy theory about the New Zealand Police and one Matt Blomfield! Revel in Matthew try to explain his purported role in the proceedings! And, as usual, enjoy the ride!

In this very special episode, Josh and Matthew keep their promise and devote an entire discussion to Nikola Tesla, one of the great unsung heroes of the 20th Century and a person of interest when it comes to conspiracy theories about suppressed inventions. It's a discussion which ranges from electrocuting elephants to death rays; come join the fun!

Holograms! From creating visions of false deities to being involved in the creation of natural disasters, holograms are the single greatest plague threatening humanities and its civil liberties. That, at least, were the views of Serge Monast and his hypothesised "Project Blue Beam". So, should we be wary of hologrammatic representations of Tupac Shukar and Michael Jackson? What make them of completely synthetic creations like Hatsune Miku? And why does Matthew think he can pronounce any old word without practicing for hours beforehand?
